Dr. Md. Enamul Huq is presently working as an Associate Professor at Yulin University, China. Previously he worked as Associate Researcher and Faculty at Hohia University, China. He has completed his Postdoc from the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS) of Wuhan University, China. LIESMARS is the top one (rank 1st) institute in Remote Sensing over the world since 2017. Dr. Huq received his PhD in Engineering in the field of Environmental Science and Engineering from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), China in 2018. He completed his MS in Geography and Environmental Studies from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh with very good result (rank 2nd). Afterwards, he got Chinese Government Scholarship for PhD degree leads by China Scholarship Council (CSC) in China.
He is experienced in teaching and scientific research for 15 years in different areas. In the meantime, he worked as the Principal Investigator (PI), International Consultant and Project Member for several projects. In addition, he has published almost 40 scientific research works including international (ISI) and national journals, book chapters, conference proceedings and a book. The cumulative impact factor (IF) of his published articles is more than 70. In addition, a number of scientific manuscripts, book chapters and conference proceedings are in the pipeline to publish. His research interest also covers emerging issues of flood, vulnerability, disaster management, hazard, RS-GIS, groundwater, geochemistry, hydrology, water resource, and water security. He also deals with physical and human environment with the application of GIS and Remote Sensing. Since 2009, he is using different software for geospatial data analysis, visualization and presentation for his research purpose. Moreover, as per research requirement he is familiar and used to apply various applications for geospatial and statistical analysis. Dr. Huq also an editorial board member of BMC Research Notes journal. He is also a reviewer of more than 20 ISI peer reviewed journals. Meanwhile, he delivered lecture as keynote speaker in conferences, attended in several national and international conferences and workshops with oral presentation.
