Short Bio: IDRC (International Development Research Centre) doctoral research award winner Abul Hossen is a Professor of Social Work, Jagannath University, Bangladesh has received his MSS and MSW from Dhaka University, Bangladesh and Carleton University, Canada respectively. He has received Ph. D from faculty of Social Work, Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. Prior to taking his current position, Dr. Hossen was a professor at Shahjalal University, Bangladesh and he also taught as a contract academic staff at Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. Because of his extraordinary work in Ph. D level, he has been awarded the “Excellence in Social Work Research Award”, 2009 from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is also the recipient of Vice Chancellor Award, 2012 from Shahjalal University. His articles on globalization, health care system, inequalities in health and gender, and aging issues have been published in journals (has impact factors) such as Qualitative Health Research, Social Work in Public Health, Health Care for Women International, Social Work in Health Care, Women & Health. He has numerous research presentations at various national and international scholarly public health conferences. Currently he is working as a fellow of Social Science Research Council. His book ‘Our Elderly in Home and Abroad: Dignity and Despair in a Global era’ published by University Grants Commission, Bangladesh

Short Bio: Dr. Selim Ahmed is an Associate Professor and Head of Business School, World University of Bangladesh. Previously he worked at the International University of Agadir (Universiapolis), Morocco as an Assistant Professor. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration and Master of Management degree from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). His PhD title was “Lean Six Sigma and Its Effect on Quality Performance in Malaysian Hospitals” Dr. Ahmed has published several books, chapters, and many articles in the top peer-reviewed journals. He is the Consulting Editor for Hospital Topics (Taylor & Francis)Guest Editor for Transnational Corporations Review (Taylor & Francis) and Article Editor for Sage Open (Sage Publishing). Dr. Ahmed has reviewed 215 manuscripts for 63 peer-reviewed journals (Scopus & Web of Science). According to the Publons 2020 rankings, Dr. Ahmed was the Top Global Reviewer in the area of Behavioral Sciences (Rank 2), Organizational Behavior (Rank 2), Healthcare Management (rank 3) Business & Economics (Rank 5), Quality Management (Rank 6) and Business Management (Rank 8). In 2018, he received the “Top Peer Reviewer Award” from Publons. In 2015, he received the “Best Paper” award from 12th Academy for Global Business Advancement (AGBA) Conference, Kuantan, Malaysia.  Dr. Ahmed is the “Chief of Marketing Plan & Moderator” of 4th Global Conference on Creating Value, 2021 Organized by University of South Florida, USA. He was the “Secretary” for 12th International Symposium on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (ISAHP, 2013), MalaysiaHe was invited by many higher educational institutes to conduct training, workshop, and lecture on research methodology, data analysis, and other topics in Malaysia, Morocco, Canada, Kuwait and Bangladesh. His research area includes Quality Management, Service Management, Healthcare Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management &, etc.

Short Bio: Mr. KAWSAR AHMED is a Ph.D. Fellow in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Central South University, China. He graduated with a B.Sc (NU) and an  M.Sc (DU) major in Statistics. In addition, Applied Statistics, Sampling and Survey Inference, Machine Learning, Public Health, Biostatistics, Regression Models, High-dimensional and Longitudinal Data Analysis, and Quantitative Economics are among his research interests. He has contributed to scientific research publications and written many national and international monitoring and evaluation reports. He has over five years of consultancy experience as a statistician and data management specialist with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), ICDDR, B, UK, Netherlands, and Spanish research implementation institutions, Bangladesh Planning Commission, BIHS, BRACU, DIU, and UCLA. Mr. Ahmed is the current Research and Development Secretary of the ‘Bangladesh-China Youth Student Association,’ as well as a lifetime member of the ‘Bangladesh Statistical Association’ and a member of the ‘International Chinese Statistical Association’. Kawsar Ahmed is also a trainer in the development sector, qualitative and quantitative research methodology, sampling design, survey data analysis, SPSS, STATA, R, and Python programming languages.

Short Bio:

Dr. Md. Abud Darda received in 2014 his PhD in Statistical Sciences from University of Padua, Italy. He had MS degree in Statistics from Lund University, Sweden in 2009 with distinctions. Earlier, he obtained M.Sc and B.Sc Degree in Statistics from Chittagong University, Bangladesh. Dr. Darda is a multidisciplinary researcher. He had experiences as a research team member in several funded projects in Sweden, Italy and Bangladesh. He is also a training specialist for Research methods and Data analysis. Dr. Darda has research interest in Nonlinear Estimations, Energy Economics, Biomedical Studies, Sustainable Development and Livelihoods, Contemporary Social Issues and Education Policy. Dr. Darda had published a number of ISI indexed journal articles, Book Chapters and Research notes. He also worked as a visiting consultant at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. Currently he is working as an associate Professor of Statistics at National University, Gazipur, Bangladesh.

Dr. Md Nazirul Islam Sarker is working as an Associate Professor in the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Neijiang Normal University, Neijang, China. He has received his bachelor degree in agriculture and Master of Science in agricultural extension education from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He has also received second master degree in business administration from COL, Canada and two diploma degree in general and Islamic banking. He has obtained PhD from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. His research includes resilience, vulnerability, social issues, urban and disaster management, agricultural extension, governance and public policy. Dr Sarker has published more than 100 scientific articles in the leading journals, books and conferences.
